First Page/Blog Post

Hello listeners of NK-DST radio, I want first thank you for the audience and respect you have for us. This is something we value so much.

Side note

After almost one year of improvements, we’re still facing some problems at our server and working as hard as possible to solve it fast. From the deep of our hearts our sincere apologize.

Reasons we have migrated to tumblr:

1- We’re yet small radio, using the best tools that our money can afford, and probably as you know, we don’t make any advertisings, and don’t receive any form of revenue to keep this project alive. Everything comes from our own pocket, and a radio - even online - is very expensive when you need to keep a 24hrs server online.

2 - That said, we cannot at this moment support a server only to host our own webpage, so Tumblr is a nice and stable way to keep it as a webpage and also keep you all informed with our blog posts. 

3 - We also use our Facebook Page and Twitter to keep everybody updated, so Tumblr will be a complement to our brand.

What will happen this year:

This is going to be a our next steps until June of 2018, and we’re in hope to achieve all them.

Server Upgrade: We’re planning in upgrade our current server to a more stable one. The current server supports only 100 listeners, and we’re surpassing this number everyday, the new one will offer a channel for 300 listeners granting a much better stability and avoiding the radio get out of the air

Radio Programs: Considering that we are a real radio station, we have been studying this possibility few months ago to not just play music, but also interact with you listeners. In late of April you will have a complete post for this.

Live Videos: Sounds crazy? Yeah we know, but it may also be a funny way to interact with you listeners in the future programs.
