Unknown, Keaka Mask, 19th or early 20th century Wooden masks covered with animal hide and depicting human heads were typical of the Cross River area in Cameroon and Nigeria. They were connected with the Ngbe closed association and appeared at initiations and burials. Today these masks are no longer in use. The significance of the double-face is unclear. Some Ejagham interpret it as the representation of a warrior and his wife. After the warrior lost all of his relatives, his wife helped him in battle. Early in the 20th century these masks were already produced for sale to Europeans.

Happy April Fool’s Day
Keaka for @starry-eyed-one! Thank you so much for that Mallory last year! I’m sorry I never attacked you back, I was getting really scared by the end of artfight. I hope this works as a proper thank you!
We're heading into summer. I wonder if I can get Keaka to use his Vulpix to ice some berries as a snack.
Alright so I had an idea while I was working with my Dad. It was about people living in a Post Apocalyptic world, but only a few months after some major tremors and tornadoes. A lot of stuff would be displaced, and you can't walk outside without any mask on due to the debris. Radioactivity was a thing and caused a lot of people to change, but only once. These changes were both physical and some mental. So I thought about what kind of people I would put in their. Or, center a story around. This trio was born. Yeong-Ji (18) is the leader of the trio. Her eyes change color as the day goes on. Gets a pretty bad headache twice a day. Loves arcades, and games in general. Top 5 in her school before the world "ended". Keaka (19) is, something like the brute force of the team. Really freakin tall. What, 6'5? Doesn't do much unless told to, fascinated with death (and the Spanish language), and has like 3 tongues. Dawn (19, older than Keaka). Called Dawn "Don" by nearly anyone that knows her, due to a superiority complex. Constantly mad due to her body practically falling apart. Missing an eye atm. The other images are like ideas to keep my head wrapped around what they would look like. There are gangs, mass groups, bands, etc. that exist in this world. Just an idea though.
