Blossom's Loft in Manhattan | Closed Starter | @godsofchaos
Waking up alone on her couch this morning wasn’t what Karmen had expected. After Blossom's surprise visit last night, and the even more surprising kiss they shared, they ended up sitting on the couch, watching a movie and talking about everything and nothing until they fell asleep together. Karmen thought she’d wake up next to Blossom, hoping for a sober, clear-headed conversation about their feelings. The other woman’s absence this morning didn’t discourage her though. She was determined to find out if Blossom felt the same way. As nervous as Karmen was about her feelings for her, she wanted to give their connection a real chance if it was mutual. After a quick shower, Karmen put on jeans, a t-shirt, and her favorite high-top Converse. She threw her hair into a messy ponytail and skipped the makeup. She didn’t need to dress up for Blossom; she felt comfortable being her true self around her. With a hat and sunglasses on, she grabbed her purse and headed out of her loft. She thought about calling her driver, but the fashion photographer’s place was just a few blocks away. Soon, Karmen found herself standing outside her door, hesitating. What if Blossom leaving this morning meant she regretted the kiss? What if she didn’t feel the same way? Just as Karmen was about to turn and leave, the door opened, and Blossom appeared, looking like she was about to head out. “Uh, hi,” Karmen said, trying to sound casual as a shy smile crept onto her face. “I was just about to knock… Did I catch you at a bad time?”
