Sweet Kiwi || Keegan & Stevie

Work at the theater that night was just as slow as it had been the previous week, but Keegan had something to look forward to that night. Late night adventures tended to be some of his favorite ones as he found that his interactions then were more daring. Unpredictability could pave way for new experiences, going unplanned could lead to thrills. It all depended on how it was taken. As he agreed to meet with Stevie that night when he got out of work, he wasn't entirely sure what they were going to do, even if the meaning of their meeting was implied. She was someone that he genuinely enjoyed being around. He was slowly getting to know the residents of Town X and while he wanted to know more of all of them, Stevie just happened to be one that he had gotten to know more with their singing photo shoot and teasing one another over pictures and personal possessions.

Checking over things twice to be sure that he had gone through the checklist of things his manager gave him to do before locking up for the night, Keegan hung the clipboard in it's respectful place before making his way out of the theater. Hoping onto his bike which was his means of transportation, he made his way home first, texting Stevie that he would be coming by soon. She had told him that she would probably be sleeping, but waking her up was okay. Dropping by his bike, he went inside to change out of his uniform and into something more comfortable. Sending her another message to meet him at her doorway, Keegan waited outside. After his awkward interaction with Cherry the other night, he didn't want to wake anyone else in the house by knocking.

Fuddle Duddle || Keegan & Robin

Seeing her everyday and sharing their late night circles, as well as experimenting new foods together, Keegan knew well enough that meeting up with Robin was inevitable and would happen at some point. The two had been somewhat awkward about the topic. He hadn't even directly been asking her for sex, but the idea was on his mind when he mentioned to her that the room was cold. When thinking about it, Keegan mentally kicked himself for not being more clear about intentions. He really did like Robin as a room mate and found her a good personality to have around. He didn't want to mess up their relationship somehow by not being direct with her, but at the same time he wasn't even sure how to begin to word such things directly. Sometimes when he spoke with Robin, Keegan only thought that he was making her nervous and so he would shy away before the topic could even come up.

With all of the temptations being made that night, however, Keegan wasn't too sure that he could hold back anymore. Taking the only direct approach he possibly knew how to take with Robin, he told her that his room was cold and that he wanted to come to hers for warmth. Being in close contact would certainly help for warmth so he hadn't really been lying. His room would indeed be colder in such case. Knocking lightly on the door to Robin's room, Keegan turned the handle to come inside. "Robin?" He called into the room, announcing his presence and offering her a smile when he saw her before sitting on the edge of her bed. "I...I think this room will be much warmer for sure," he mentioned, not sure how else to start off things. He looked to her biting his bottom lip. "What do you think?"

As soon as possible | Keegan & Bea

This was in no way, shape or form what Beatrice had expected when she settled for a completely uneventful Saturday night. She had no idea that playful banter could turn into something that had her in such a state of anticipation that was almost painful, and she certainly had no idea it would trigger a series of meetings, but really, she wasn't complaining. Beatrice loved peace and quiet, but everyone needed a little something more in their lives, and this was her way of getting it. As she walked straight out of Robin's bedroom, boots in hand and dress slightly creased, Beatrice felt a little cheap for doing meeting after meeting like that, but all it took was to remind herself that she actually liked Keegan and that this was their function in the town for her to get past that.

Deciding to leave her boots on the hall, the brunette ran her fingers through her hair to make sure it was in place before licking her lips and knocking on the door to his room. She was still somewhat surprised by her own behavior, because even if she was anything but shy, things definitely didn't happen this fast back home, and her head was almost spinning at the effort to keep up with everything. She did manage to stay grounded, though, and for that Beatrice congratulated herself, because it would have been very easy to lose herself into this new kind of routine.

Run By Visiting || Keegan & Lena

For whatever reason, Keegan found himself being in a great mood when he woke up that morning. Perhaps it was because it was finally hitting him that he had moved away from home just as he had been hoping for years now. He was finally breaking the traditions that his family was so set on and doing something that he wanted instead. Knowing that was somewhat empowering. Now there was the added factor that he was starting to get to know the other members of Town X and they were people that he could see himself getting along well with as long as he extended his friendship in return. It was better to be comfortable with and get to know the others of the town, sure, but it was one thing for it to be a genuine like and another for it to be a forced type.

Stepping out of his new house that he shared with Robin and Mara, Keegan set off on the walk to the Stop N' Go where he agreed to stop by and meet Lena. He hadn't met her in person yet, so this would be their first time seeing one another face to face. He had already been hoping to go for a walk that afternoon, but now he had a destination that he could work with. Managing to only make a few wrong turns on his way there, Keegan arrived at the store and stepped inside looking about for Lena as he had no idea what part of the store she worked in. "Hellllu!?" He called out waiting for some sort of response back as he stepped through a nearby aisle.

Showing the ropes || Cherry and Keegan

Truthfully, Cherry wasn't really over her little falling out with Ruby. Nowhere near that. Somewhere deep,deepdown, she knew that the girl wasn't actually a threat, but it stirred something inside of her to see her like that with Roman, as if it reminded her how easily she could lose him, of how easily he could slip away from her and towards someone else. Cherry was more than aware that she didn't own him, and she'd never actually bring this up to him, but the fact was still making her blood boil and she was in much need of a suitable distraction.

And along came Keegan, something that pleased her quite a lot. He seemed like a nice enough guy, and his particular interest in her ropes had definitely caught Cherry's attention. Smoothing a dark purple dress over her legs, she twirled a curl of her hair around her finger before placing herself in front of the mirror, making sure she looked presentable even though she wasn't exactly making a special effort - just enough to cause an impression. Glancing at her clock, she noticed it was almost time for Keegan to arrive, so the girl settled for adding a thin line of eyeliner to her make-up as she waited, smiling in approval when she was done.

Just Desserts || Keegan & Lady

Procrastinating was something that Keegan never had trouble with. It was a good part of his life when it came to anything outside of photography. His focus was high on something when he wanted it to be, it was just hard for him to feel motivated to do an activity if there was no driving force making him want go through the efforts of doing this. Now that Lady and him worked out a deal, he thought he could be more motivated to unpack. Though his original plan was to just slowly unpack everything throughout the week and slip clothing straight from his suitcase, the enticement of ice cream was stronger than his procrastination was. They made an agreement that they would share ice cream if they both completely got their packing done. Not one moment before this happened would they get ice cream. Even if it seemed like a more childish thing to promise, Keegan liked to think that he was still young enough to act like a kid sometimes and still have this be acceptable.

Wandering around his room, Keegan tried to decide where to start with the task of unpacking and decided to start with moving his clothes to the closet and drawers that were in his room. He had a feeling that even though he was putting them away now, his room would gradually get messier. Either way it was probably a better idea to start with it being clean rather than a mini war zone. Within the next half hour he's unpacked everything but for one box. This box just has little odds and ends on it. Deciding to finish the job, he just dumps what is in the box into a random desk drawer before going to his kitchen.

The night before, Keegan had put ice cream in the fridge since he just couldn't get enough of it. He had a weird addiction to Ben and Jerry's that even he couldn't explain. He quickly messaged Lady to let her know she could just come over to his place for the ice cream and waited for her response as he got out bowls and spoons for them to eat with. He doesn't really know what else he might be able to do to prepare since he doesn't want to get ice cream out that could possibly melt. In the meantime he just dances around the kitchen before realizing he has no pants on while he awaits Lady's arrival.

Testing New Waters || Keegan & Ruby

Though it was his first night in the new town, Keegan wanted to be sure that moving all the way across the country or to wherever he was now was worth leaving everything behind. He didn't want to waste his energies to come out here, just to do the same things that he would have done back in Long Island. The same family traditions of the Simons being raised there, settling in and letting themselves form their own families there as well. Discovering Town X had just been the breakthrough that Keegan had been hoping for. He needed to find his own footing away from Long Island with a new face of scenery and new faces along with it. Plus he had to admit the concept of their energy source was both intriguing and brilliant. Energy taken from physical contact. The thing every human craved and harnessing that into something productive just seemed like a great idea in his opinion.

After sorting through his luggage, Keegan managed to retrieve his swim trunks. They weren't buried too deeply and he knew they would still fit as he had just gone to the beach wearing them a few weeks ago. Now being in Town X just made everything feel like a lifetime away from when he lived in Long Island. He had barely been here a day and it felt like an entirely new world. Nowhere was he complaining, but it was just a big adjustment. He slid the trunks on before pulling a shirt on over his head and finding his keys to the house he now shared. 

With the vague map they were given, he made his way to meet Ruby at the recreation center. Even though there were all new faces here now, he was sure that he would become accustomed to everything and become familiar with everyone soon enough. Pushing through the entrance of the building as he arrived, Keegan looked for directions to the pool area and didn't have to much trouble getting there. He wasn't the best or the worst swimmer, but having the ability to swim was really all that he needed tonight. Deciding to wait at the edge of the pool, Keegan laid a towel down to sit on the concrete, dipping his legs over the side of the pool and into the waters as he drifted into his thoughts in wait.
