"keep inventory is cheating" why do you gaf about what im doing in my singleplayer world

I have both java and bedrock editions, and neither give me exactly what I want out of the game. Keep inventory counts as a cheat and disallows advancements in one version, and in the other version you can't leave the coordinates on without having a ton of useless data fill up the screen.

- Claim a shop stall in spawn and sell your goods to other players, or buy that item you’ve been looking for from another seller. 

Explore

- Explore a beautiful map that goes 100k in each direction, and find rare loot stashes hidden throughout the world.

Community

- Participate in player and staff run events, and help shape the server by taking community polls and surveys. 

Spawn Lore

- Interact with our evil sorcerer in spawn, or perhaps the kind old wizard who lives in his tower on the north hill. Discover the power of blessed and cursed gemstones.

I enjoy minecraft a lot more since I've turned on Keep Inventory

im playing minecraft as one does, right?

i start a new world, gather basic materials, and head into the mines, as i tend to do.

i have like 4 stacks of coal, 4 stacks of copper, a stack of iron, a solid TWO diamonds and a shit ton of other random stuff

i’m ready to go back to the surface to start building my house

i have keep inventory on

i see a pit of lava

“ah yes let’s just jump into here to die and go back to the surface” i says

i jump in, and i expect to wake up from a bad dream on the surface (immediate respawn) with my wares right?

WRONG

keep inventory was OFF

OFF!!!

i watched, heart broken and distraught as all of my hard work burned, and i logged off and gave up.

i hate it here.
