Project Azoth + Kalos-Unova royal bloodline (Theory)
Alright, I’m going to talk about “Project Azoth”, which was briefly mentioned in the Delta Episode. Azoth? AZ? Omegaruby and Alphasapphire. A and Alpha = beginning. Z and Omega= the end. Sounds pretty fishy to me. The Kalos and Hoenn plots must be pretty connected.
Zinnia even mentions that AZ had seen the legend of Rayquaza with his own eyes. How would Zinnia know this? Well, AZ recently came to Hoenn and planted the great big tree in Sootopolis. Zinnia was in Team Magma/Aqua at the time, so maybe that’s where she heard about it. Otherwise, why would the team name their project “Project Azoth”? It’s because AZ told them something about it, duh.
Plus, the new movie this summer is literally set in the Kingdom of Azoth. I mean, obviously we’re going to be getting some juicy plot stuff pretty soon…aren’t we game freak? Aren’t we?
So what do we know about this “Azoth Kingdom”? According to the translations on Serebii, it’s a kingdom of super-machinery. Volcanion and his new buddy, Ash, have to go there to find this brand sparkly new pokemon (to the fandom, anyway): Magiana.
It’s called the man-made pokemon and it was made about 500 years ago.
Right now all I can come up with is: Azoth is currently the only “kingdom” of humans mentioned in Kalos so far. We know AZ was a king, so maybe this was his kingdom in the past. AZ is mentioned to have a younger brother, who wanted to take over the entirety of Kalos out of greed. When AZ blew everything up though, he knew he was wrong and buried the weapon in the earth. The brother had two sons, and the lineage continued all the way to good old Lysandre.
Clearly this line of kings was the one who ruled this kingdom, but why did they make Magiana? Maybe to protect the weapon from getting used? Idk honestly.
The king lineage is what I really want to talk about though. This is how this gets connected to Unova. The Ultimate weapon was used 3,000 years ago. The original twin heroes united the nation of Unova over 2,500 years ago. The Unova line (let’s call them the Harmonia line for now) did in fact exist during the time of the ultimate weapon, since the “relic items” were created 3,000 years ago.
Without saying that AZ’s brother’s sons were the twin heroes (which they could be), I think it’s a possibility Unova and Kalos were allies. France and the U.S were allies in the revolutionary war, so it’s not out of the question. The Kalos war was with an unknown country, it may have even been a civil war.
In the Parfume Palace, there’s a Reshiram and Zekrom statue. Unova and Kalos must have had a friendly or positive relationship with each other, so the war couldn’t have been with Unova.
And do you know what kingdoms did as allies? That’s right; royals got married to each other. So the Harmonia line could have intermarried with AZ and Lysandre’s line. Meaning Ghetsis, N (if he’s really related to Ghetsis or vice versa), AZ, and Lysandre are all related to each other.
Here’s further proof to their relation:
· They’re all really tall. Ghetsis is 6’ 6’’. N is 5’ 11’’ (which is tall considering he’s probably not fully grown). Lysandre is noticeably taller than most characters. And AZ is 9 feet (okay, that’s because of the ultimate weapon, but so what).
· Both N and Lysandre’s hairstyles look like pokemon they own. N’s like zoroark and Lysandre’s like pyroar. I guess Ghetsis has those three spike things…so hydreigon?
· AZ and N both have names with only capital letters (and the names are letters. Maybe it’s a family thing?).
· AZ’s theme and N’s farewell theme are freakishly similar
· As I’ve mentioned in a previous post. AZ’s key for the ultimate weapon looks like the key that was with N’s puzzle cube concept.
Also, more conspiracy time, N and Ghetsis’ last name is Gropius. Dirty jokes aside, that’s the last name of a German architect. An architect. Maybe Ghetsis and N’s relatives built the kingdom of Azoth? What if they built Magiana?
Gen 6 was in development during Gen 5. They could definitely be connected. Maybe N’s cube has some secret to either the ultimate weapon or Magiana. You can’t connect 3 separate region plot wise and keep a secret, gamefreak. We will find out.
