How is it you got an apartment from Mr. Gold at 17?

Did your parents know you were indebting yourself to the scary businessmen who used to be an evil scaly lizard wizard? On the case of the debt. Do you have a job? From your last post saying you are unemployed, I wouldn't think so. How did you pay the security posset?

Where do you life rn? I am sure granny would take you in if you explain the situation.

Well, I was a fan of lizard grumpy old dude since minority-minority, if you get me. I reached to him through tumblr.com, the embodiment of word "strange" on planet Earth and decided to push my luck by lying, that I, apparently, am very much mature and self aware. The outcome was weird, there was contract that said he's not responsible for me being dead in any capacity. Well, uh, I signed regardless, he promised free chocolate! Chocolate was fine, btw, but then I appeared here, homeless and oblivious to consequences of my actions, of course. It was weird, but I ended up being happy, cuz police here sucks. Only one department on city sure sounds secure to me though. But whole Pest situation got me thinking, maybe I should, indeed, pay. Though after that he threatened to kill me so now I'm hiding real good. Also, how do I know you're not him? I have no clue who you are aside what you told me yourself! So, nah, no hiding spot revealing! Btw, I got no apartment, I'm supposed to pay for just walkin around this town! I can't go back to my old home, I'm stuck as hell. If he ever finds me, I'll bite his ear and run away screaming. I don't have a job currently, cuz I honestly don't know where you can work without any professional education. Granny's sure sounds fine, then again, there's scaly POS trying to rip me apart, so, I don't think that'll do. Ugh. It sucks. I wanna go home. The place is nice, magical. But I miss everything I left behind with this stupid paper. I wish it was different.

“Its that time again. As that ball of firey radiation falls behind the mountains, keep your head held high you children of the desert, keep your gun close, and as always.. Keep Runnin. Good luck” Titanium Ignition signed off and shut down the system, slumping back into his chair. 

“That was a good sign off, you ok man, you dont usually get all emo when you sign off,” Iridium Iris asked his killjoy-in-crime, “Whats up?” 

Titan seemed to be in another world, he shook his head and raised his bushy eyebrows, “Who-wha? Oh, its nothing,” Titan brushed it off and tried to switch the topic, “What did you think of the songs today? I picked them out when you were taking your nap” 

“Dont you change the subject you weaselly fucker, whats wrong you know i cant sleep over this shit.” Iris narrowed his eyes and threw a pickle he had been eating at the distracted boy. It hit him square in the nose. 

“Ow what the shit? Gods fine... its just... somethings been bothering me,” he said slowly. 

“Duh” 

Titan made a face and rolled his eyes, “I’ve been thinking about... the thing... that we saw that night... it really messed me up and i cant get it out of my head.” Titan had a deadly serious tone, his radio voice now something only remembered. “It was Convell, but what were they digging up?” 

Iris looked down, he knew the night in question. It was a few weeks ago when they had gone out looking for food and gas under cover of darkness. They had put the muffler back on Titans car and drove around looting. It wasn’t long before they saw some lights in the desert. Figuring it was a gas station they investigated, and found much more than they bargained for.

I’ll be adding the newly added section under the old ones, keeping the whole story(s) together.

The smell of smoke filled the nostrils of the sleeping killjoy, stirring him slightly from his sleep. Iridium Iris blinked and rubbed his eyes with the backs of his hands, squeezed out a yawn and stretched. His eyes blurred and he took a deep sniff of the second hand smoke, American Spirits.

“Mornin sunshine,” a voice from the darkness said, it was warm, a slight redness shone through a window, “Ya looked so cute sleepin I didn’t want to wake you up” he said, lacking any seriousness. Iris reached a hand out and made a nomming-motion with his mouth, Titanium Ignition emerged from the shadows and stuck his cigarette to Iris’s lips. Iris took a deep drag, then exhaled calmly, smoke pluming out his nostrils. “Better?” Titan asked, taking back his cig.

“Better” (end of Part One) Iris replied, sad to see the ember go. He threw the blankets off himself and attempted to roll out of bed, Titan doing his best not to laugh at the flailing boy. “Shut up…” Iris said, “even though you didn’t say anything just… shut up…” Titan chuckled and left the boy alone so he could get dressed.

“Breakfast is ready when you are,” he called back into the nest-like-bedroom, “hope you like lizard.” Titan laughed and walked to the fire where the cooking desert lizard sat, impaled by a stick. He picked it up, peeled away some of the skin, and took a hefty bite into the crunchy creature, coughed, and spit out a handful of rib and spine bones. “Hey now lizard wizard that aint cool, I got a bone to pick with you, heh, bone.” Titan said to himself, laughing at his own joke.

“Hey save some for me dicknose,” Iris walked out of his nest of a bedroom and into the shaded and rubbled building they commandeered. It stood two stories high, concrete, the second floor was partially collapsed, leaving a ramp up to Titans bedroom. Iris looked up, “The hole in the ceiling seems bigger than-” he put on his glasses, “oh, right. Oh ew lizard again?” he complained.

“It beats dog food right? Besides, protein.”
