Keep Sake Box
Thinking of going through my Keep Sake Box (I think I have 2?) tonight.
I have a Keep Sake Box that’s HECKIN’ old. It’s a ShoeBox painted in bright colors with trees and peace signs on it (my Hardcore Hippy Phase). I might take pictures and post them as I go through it. I’m planning on adding things to it is why--- like the last bits of handmade soap and Booklet friend made me, and the tag from the Player Handbook that friends gifted me, and a D&D Sticker a Friend also gave.
I like my Keep Sake Box. Whenever I’m feeling sad or down, or a lot going on in life, or entering a new phase of life (healing, or New Year, or Moving, or so on), I always take time to look through it because it contains all the things that made me happy through the years (as far back as the 5th or 6th grade).
I get to see it grow and be stuffed, and I look at it and be like, “These are all the things that makes me happy! I had happy things in my life-- and still do!” And it makes me happy the bigger I get to see it grow. This is why I like collecting things and adding things.
This is why I extremely treasure handmade things or trinkets because I hold onto that stuff forever. Am I a hoarder? Probably. But, like....I have a bad memory, so these things help me recall happy things~
Maybe I’ll take pictures and share them when I go through it.......not sure if anyone’s actually interested in it, but.....yes yes!

RF day 1
I'm going to start this thing, where i'm going to tell you a random fact about me each day. Starting today.
Day 1:
I keep things that people have given to me, even if i don't talk to them anymore. I keep them in my "keep sake box" (so original, iknowright), which is your averaged size shoe box. I started doing this in 2005, putting in old movie tickets and what not. I guess it's my own weird way of holding on to things that aren't there anymore. Nether the less, i enjoy going through it every once and a while, although most of the things in there make me pretty sad. But i can't bring myself to throw it out.
