Could you tell me about your tfa headcannons? (If you have any)

oh mAn ive never like laid them out i guess but here goes:

finn is asexual to the highest degree, borderline sex-repulsed, but GOD the kids an affection sponge. catch him curled up in reys lap or holding her hand at literally any time. poe is constantly late to Important Resistance Meetings bc finn fell asleep sprawled on top of him. finn probably doesnt notice how often he does this, and the fact that he just doesnt grasp personal space, but rey and poe dont mind all that much

finn and rey are…weird. they dont know whats going on with a lot of stuff. everything is adventure to them bc theyve only known loneliness and pain for so long. they light up at the smallest acts of kindness; one time a resistance member handed rey some water and she just stared at them speechless for a full five minutes. finn and rey do things that no one else does bc its just fuckin strange: they hold eye contact for WAYY too long, they’re incredibly comfortable with each other and often forget other people arent, theyre really emotional about seemingly inconsequential stuff, and good fuckin luck trying to get them to laugh at ur joke. (poe makes them laugh bc hes poe, but he dies a little on the inside when they dont get his puns)

in the tfa book, poe and rey meet by accidentally hugging each other, and if thats not the cutest shit ever idk what is. finn is absolutely delighted to see them hug (and then fits himself between them bc affection sponge.)

the fucking JACKET ok ok poe sees finn in the jacket for the first time and thinks “he is the most beautiful person ive ever seen in my life” and then he sees rey in the jacket and hes like “shE IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PERSON IVE EVER SEEN IN YM LIFE” but all he says is: “it suits you”

poe thinks hes suave, until hes in close proximity to the smiley dorks that are finn and rey. their delight in the smallest things is contagious. one time he got teary eyed over a toaster bc rey had never seen one before and she made like 50 slices of toast just so she could wait for them to pop up and scare finn

finns jumpy. he flinches easily, and any sudden movement. it’s heartbreaking

finn and rey are incredibly young, and no one really bothers to ask until rey offhandedly mentions being like 19 or smth and finns like “WHOA ME TOO!!” and poes like “I HAVE SOCKS OLDER THAN YOU”

poe dameron is a fucking injustice to this galaxy. theres no way one man can look that good all the time. (finn and rey can confirm: hes just as beautiful even in the morning, and by all means, its just unfair)

finn is pretty obvious with his emotions. hes not a very good liar bc of it. he rarely cries, hes not particularly weepy, but if hes upset he literally pouts and he’ll try to play it off but he cant bc his face gives him away. rey however is stone cold and coaxing facial expressions out of her is like pulling teeth. she has two settings: smiley af and I Feel Nothing.
