Keeping my spirits up even when things look bad
So my partner and I have been working on our first project for now 8 months. In month 5, when everything was wrapping up, a press release and a post-mortem was completed on our game, a freak accident occurred making the past 5 months pointless (all the game data was wiped clean). I completely take ALL of the blame. Here I am 3 months later trying my hardest to keep my spirits up and re-release something even better, but I can no longer keep focus. I am literally looking at my last piece of script, trying hard to remember how I got it to work last time, but my mind keeps coming up blank... My mind wants to work on another project to move on. Yet, my heart wants my first game to live longer than just a few QA sessions that it endured.
