Hm, perhaps this strange female had a point. This had not occurred to Ultima. “Demetria Tynan. Noted.” His cerulean orbs scanned her head to toe, taking in her every aspect.

"The advice is…appreciated. I am addressed as Ultima."

"Ultima. Like the spell or the creature?" This didn't really faze her. Having met summons and all manner of people, the fact that people like this was nearly common occurrence now.

"Regardless of who you are, would you like to stay in my company. There is plenty more advice where that came from."

Humanity and Power

Ultima Weapon's design allows him to become more powerful with each person he kills by absorbing the soul of the individual, though the level of strength is equivalent to the power and skill inherent in that individual's soul. This is a result of being Junctioned with Eden while in the Deep Sea Research Center, and each soul he devours brings him a slightly greater understanding of humanity. As he absorbs lives, he becomes more capable of human emotion and understanding.

And, as a result, he will eventually face the emotional consequences of his nature as a killing machine and the countless lives he has taken.
