Thought/metaphor
you know how after you start college, the issue of high school starting time being too fucking early is less important to you? like you never notice or think about it ever? That is similar to men’s situation regarding feminism and institutional sexism. it’s not an issue for them, so even if they can be made aware of it, they are not the ones having to live with it or constantly be reminded of it.
It's been a trying week for me... I'm at a point where it's easier to make the best of whatever the situation is, as opposed to just sit and mope about it. Trying to count the blessings I do have in my life. I'm gonna focus on the positive for the time being

I write as rains pelt the roof and winkle their way into my basement in streams that engulf my ankles.
