i've seen you mention AJ a lot, and can I ask what kind of bird he is??

I'm not sure what subspecies he is. There's two big ones, the nominate subspecies Trichoglossus haematodus haematodus, also called the green-naped lory

And the Swainson's lorikeet, or Blue Mountain Lory, T. h. moluccanus

Note the lack of barring on the chest, the predominantly blue belly, and the green bird pants (as opposed to the most fashionable of yellow stripy bird pants).
AJ has the blue barring and the yellow bird pants of T. h. haematodus, but the blue belly of T. h. moluccanus. Since they're subspecies, it's possible he's a mix; he might also be one of the other subspecies, most of which are somewhere in between haematodus and moluccanus.
That is probably more research and information than you wanted, but all this Wikipedia reading has to go to some use, haha. :P
