I love little green men ep, but Mulders toddler hair hair pisses me off so much, uuugh. Give me top 3 of worst Mulder hair

The toddler hair is... not good. Early season 2 is a bad hair season for both Mulder and Scully. It gets MUCH better towards the end!

I quickly took screenshots of hair that I know annoys me - these might not be the worst, these are just the ones I remember.

Pilot Mulder and that stupid lock of hair. It drives me nuts.

Ascension Mulder might be the worst of them all. What is this? It’s what I call the “hedgehog haircut”. He gets it again (!) in later seasons...

Wow, how long has this been here?? I didn’t get a notification for it. Lucky me, Lucy. HAHA Okay, this is pure evil, and I am NOT. a fan. If I HAD to choose a death, I’d choose for Carol to have a heart attack in her sleep and it cause her an instant death. She doesn’t deserve any more pain, agony, physical hurts/ailments, lingering wounds or bruises, drawn out pain, or excruciating moments to live through. So...instantaneous death via heart attack. At the ripe old age of 95 after spending the last 40 years loving and being loved wildly and fantastically by Daryl mofo Dixon.

She’s aged like a queen, he thinks.  Her spine is straight, her bearing regal.  She owns the land she walks on.  She didn’t, at the very beginning.  She was Joan of Arc.  Now she’s Eleanor of Acquitaine or Hippolyta commanding her Amazons.  The glint of the sun on her hair brings out a crown of gold.  The pen in her hand could be a scepter.  

He’s always been her subject, willing or rogueish.  He’s worn her favor into battle.  And oh, there have been battles, internal and external.  He’s her champion and she is his.  They’ve built their own little kingdom, every inch of territory hardwon.  

“What are you thinking?” she murmurs as she falls asleep.  

“I’d pledge my troth to you,” he tells her.  “My lady.”

She laughs sleepily.  “I know.”

Finally someone who watches hdm! 😭😘 Can I have your opinion on that awful bear fight we had last week?And can we talk about how awesome Coulter and Azriel are!

i’m going to preface this by saying i do love the show even if it suffers from a lot of problems, mainly its CGI budget. the revelation of this show to me was marisa coulter and how brilliantly they chose to expand her character. i adore ruth wilson - all of her scenes with dafne are amazing. i can’t wait for the end, and i can’t wait for her inevitable reunion with asriel. the sets are beautiful and exciting, and i hope they can renew the show for a 3rd season. 

that being said… it does suffer from a big CGI problem. i know they’re restricted in what they can do but it does seem at times that pullman’s universe isn’t quite as awe-inspiring and rich as it is in the books because of it. the lack of daemons in many scenes really bothers me, for one. tony makarios’ death and separation from his daemon was extremely underwhelming when in the book it’s utterly horrifying. characters keep saying how important the bond between daemons and humans are… when most of them don’t have any visible daemon. i loved the scene where mrs coulter saves lyra from the intercision but why aren’t she and pan running immediately into each other’s arms? the lack of meaningful interaction between humans and their daemons bothers me a lot. 

as for the bear fight, i thought the scene was beautifully crafted - i can only imagine how difficult it is to animate fictional talking bears - but having them fight without their armor was… surprising. maybe that’s the book purist in me but i also was disappointed not to see iofur’s court and how ‘human’ he was trying to make it. i thought there would be way more bears as well, but we’re falling back onto the CGI budget problem.

Saw that Anon hate (probably one of origos) ask, and I just wanted to add, it's good to know that even after they got their absolute garbage of canon, ichiruki is still a living and lovable ship. Btw, your recent IR art gave me the life 💜

They really thought just because ir wasn’t canon we would automatically stop shipping them (/_-) as if people would forget about such a god-tier ship that easily smh
