Deutsch: Unsere Wanderung auf den Kehlstein beginnt vom Parkplatz P11 an der Roßfeld Höhenstraße direkt hinter der Mautstelle. Es ist ein einfach zu gehender Weg, zuerst ist es eine Kiesstraße, die dann in ein asphaltierten Weg übergeht. Die Strecke ist für all Wanderer geeignet und leicht zu gehen. Auch bei langsamen Gang ist man nach rund 2 1/2 Stunden auf den Gipfel des Kehlsteins. Die Wanderung zum Kehlstein empfiehlt sich vor Start der Tourismussaison, dann dann werden Abertausende  von Touristen mit Bussen hochgefahren, so dass das nunmehr leider ausgebaute und abgeflachte Plateau auf dem Gipfel vollkommen mit Menschen überfüllt ist. Das Kehlsteinhaus selbst ist aufgrund seines Baus in den Jahren 1937/38 und als Aufenthaltsort von Adolf Hitler, sofern er in Berchtesgaden war, ein historischer Anziehungspunkt für viele Besucher. Der Kehlstein gehört mit seinem 1.871 Metern eigentlich zum Gebirgsstock des Hohen Göll, der mit seinen rund 2.500 Metern Höhe der höchste Berg der Berchtesgadener Alpen nördöstlich des Watzmanns ist. It’s a easy to go trail, first it’s a gravel road and then a paved walkway. It’s an easy to go tour which every hiker can do and even with slow pace the summit can be reached after roughly 2 1/2 hours. The hike on Mount Kehlstein should be done before the tourist season starts, because then thousands of tourists will be transported with busses up to the mountain. Because of that the natural plateau was flattened. The Kehlsteinhaus itself, well known at the Eagle’s Nest, was built in the years 1937/38 and served to host Adolf Hitler when he was in Berchtesgaden, so it’s an historic center of attraction for many tourists. Mount Kehlstein itself with its 1.871 meter belongs to the massif of the mountain Hohe Göll, which with around 2.500 meter is the highest mountain of the Berchtesgadener Alps in the north east of the famous Mount Watzmann.
