Ukai x Saeko HC

So, Ukai’s current concern is that he is always being pressured to marry right? So imagine a fake dating trope.

Ukai’s car breaks down. He’s about to head over to see Ukai senior in the hospital and he’s plenty frustrated and who happens to come by? That’s right Saeko

Saeko came by to drop off the list of people who are interested in volunteering for Karasuno. The Cheer Squad recruitment. 

And who all of a sudden has a ride to the hospital now, that’s right Ukai. (through motorcycle)

He asks if he could borrow it and he will return it. And it basically ends up with Saeko saying, “Trust me, you’ll get there in no time if I’m riding”

Ukai finds out how Kageyama and Hinata managed to make to fast to the training camp. he wonders how they are alive. Never again he tells himself.

Saeko waits outside the hospital room as she doesn’t want to interrupt. But she hears the Ukai senior nagging him about why he doesn’t have a gf and he’s getting old and he wants to see him married already (of course to the annoyance of Keishin)

And all of a sudden Saeko just barges into the room and wraps her arms around Keishin saying how he does have someone in his life(She thinks she’s just being helpful. If it’s anything the tanaka siblings have in common is that they are quite impulsive, worry about consequences later act now)

Chaos ensues

Title: Where Lovers Roam Pairing: Keishin Ukai and Tanaka Saeko Word Count: 3671 Rating/Warnings: Mature. Sexual content A/N: This has been written as part of the @hqrarepairexchange for @colonelchansan  - I hope you like it.

Summary:  “Nice underwear,” she said, not even bothering to hide her laughter.

“Hey, I didn’t know I was gonna be seduced! If I had, I’d have-”

“Not worn Pokémon pants, right?”

“No, I’d have made sure they weren’t Pikachu,” he pretended to grumble.

It was a cool evening, even for early November, but out in the yard as Keishin yawned and stretched he was in no particular hurry to get back inside.  Having just brought out the trash, he was taking it easy and contemplating a cigarette before returning to the store. It had been a long day – a long thirteen days and evenings – because he’d had to make up the shifts he’d missed, so surely not even his mom would begrudge him five extra minutes out here. He leant back against the wall, inhaled deeply, and stared at the sunset, his mind a blissful blank.

So caught up in the orange and pinks in the sky, he failed to register the screech of tyres up the alley and the figure, cloaked in black approaching. Then, before he could react, a hand - a leather-gloved hand - whipped out to catch his arm.

“You’re coming with me.”

“Huh?”

“Move it, buddy. This is a kidnap.”

He chuckled. “How ‘bout you take your helmet off first, sweetheart?”

The hand gripped tighter, and then she laughed. Lifting up her visor, Saeko scrunched up her nose. “I mean it. Get on the back, yeah.”

He sighed, because as tempting as her offer was, he had commitments. “Honey, I gotta work. You know that,” he implored. “I’m real sorry I ain’t had the chance to see you, but I did warn ya.”

As if he’d said nothing, she was dragging him to her bike, all one hundred and fifty-five centimetres of her, reeling him in.

“Saeko,” he muttered. “I can’t leave.”

She stopped walking, yanked him closer, and reaching up, she ruffled his hair, pulling the band around his neck. “Sure you can,” she whispered. “It’s all arranged.”

KeiSae!!

Oh lordy!

001 | send me a ship and I will tell you:

when I started shipping it if I did: Well, I started writing The Beat of a Drum in October 2014, but I’d been shipping them low-key for a while before then, probably since starting the manga and when I got to the bit where she appears. I wanted to write her because I love her character, and I saw how alike her and Keishin were (and both so sexy) and thought … hell yeah.

my thoughts: I love them and really can’t understand why it’s not a bigger ship because to me they fit so fricking well, and … yeah… they’re aesthetically pleaseing - ha ha.  I sometimes think it’s because it’s  because they’re older (I am laughing bitterly at the thought of a 26yo being considered old, tbh.) 

What makes me happy about them: that they both care about this bunch of volleyball players. That Saeko put herself out to drive Hinata and Kags to Tokyo because the team were in a bind. 

Keishin and Saeko dont care too much about appearances, will drink together and  have a good time wherever they are. 

What makes me sad about them: That the expectations on Keishin (I hc him as an only child) are to marry and have kids and that’s not what either of them want (yet). That Saeko longs for adventure but she’s tied to her family (her mom is dead in my Tanaka family stories). They’ll make it together someday.things done in fanfic that annoys me: That there is SO little fanart, tbh. Until recently there was one piece on this site. @viria has drawn something incredibly good though, so I’m kind of hoping there’ll be an upswing in interest. Also @i-like-to-look-at-your-back‘s gladiator au has Keishin, Saeko and Tanaka thrown together as kids, so … yeahhhhhh. things I look for in fanfic: Um, there are about six stories, so basically I just look for fanfiction.Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Nope nope nope, not thinking about that. I haven’t thought about Keishin, tbh. (Also does everyone have to end up with someone???) I have seen some good Saeko and Akiteru art, but it’s not something I’d particularly ship. Saeko/Arisa however … My happily ever after for them: Saeko tours with her drumming group (once Ryuu’s graduated). Keishin meets up with her whenever he can. They continue a long distance relationship for a while because both are important to each other. Keishin takes over the family business (I think his parents might divorce, so …) continues to coach vb, and then at some stage, Saeko gets pregnant. It’s a shock, but both are very happy. She still does a few tours, but nothing too far away when their daughter is little. Keishin is fantastic at changing nappies and is unfazed by baby sick, as is the baby’s uncle. (He’s had practise)

who is the big spoon/little spoon: Saeko is so little that she should be the little spoon, and Keishin loves to drape himself around her, but then he gets uncomfortable and his arm goes to sleep, so  he ends up sleeping on his back, and she sprawls out.what is their favorite non-sexual activity: they don’t have one. Oh, okay, they do. They like cooking together, having the radio on and singing along as they chop veg and stuff. Also drinking. But alcohol tends to lead to sex, so … yeah …

Title: Boxed In Characters/Ship: Saeko, Keishin, KeiSae Rating: General Warnings: None. A/N: I originally wrote this after a prompt from @maychorian in 2014. I’ve rewritten parts of it, and made it more relevent to today.  Enjoy. 

Summary: Saeko hadn't meant to spy Keishin, and it was clear he hadn't known she was going to be there. And she could just forget about it, but he'd ducked into a jewellery shop ... on Valentine's Day ... and they had a date tonight.

Most girls would be thrilled, but Saeko ain't most girls.
