It became clear as Shiro cleared the debris that this wasn't actually a little girl, but rather an android. Namely, because a piece of rebar had pierced right through her shoulder, pinning her to the ground, and some of her mechanics were exposed, especially in her legs, the most damaged pieces. "Fortunately, I was designed not to feel pain," the chipper voice replied. Because otherwise, this would be agony.
