Friday, July 18, 2:38pm, 76 degrees
kk is wearing a white ribbed scoop neck tshirt with slightly ripped black jeggings, and black cat jordans. she decided to wear a white charm bracelet, a silver chain and tiny white heart earrings to go with her painted white fingemails, she has her hair flatironed with a semi side part and no makeup, just clear lip oil.
raya is wearing a black tank top, slight tan lines from her sports bra visible, with dark green cargo shorts, white adidas superstar shoes and one diamond earring in her left ear. she has her thick curls pulled back into a back ponytail. she's wearing no makeup as well, just a yellow star pimple patch on her left cheek to hide the pimple that kk swears she doesn't see.
"hey raya, lets go to canes!", kk says as she grabs raya's hand to lead her through the crowded sidewalk near michigan and lake.
"you know i hate crowds, we could have found any other canes in the city but we're here now so let me chill," raya sighs as multiple people brush past her without saying excuse me.
"im sorry boo, we're almost there." kk sweetly says while looking up at raya and giving her a sweet smile.
kk's smile always makes raya's heart beat faster, as does many small things that kk does. as she continues walking, with kk holding her hand although the sidewalk has cleared up, she smiles and puts her hand that was interlocked with kk's soft fingers, around kk's shoulder pulling her closer.
raya likes letting kk lead the way, but she occasionally likes to show dominance.
after making it to canes, they just order a basket of fries to share and get two drinks(kk gets sprite, while raya gets ice water ).
she picks to sit in a booth, nearest to the window, with raya sitting right beside her. raya leans in to peck kk’s cheek and afterwards rests her hand on kk’s thigh under the table as the college sweethearts begin to talk about where to spend the rest of the afternoon, as kk and her UConn wbb team are on a summer city tour with few free days in between.
they decide on walking to the bean to take pictures, then either going by the lake or grabbing two electric bikes that the city offers to rent.
the two girls debate on the electric bikes, as kk is more sporty and a risk taker while raya is more shy and was thinking of the worst case scenarios that could come from riding the bikes with no helmet . she eventually convinces raya to agree to do it after they visit the bean, and afterwards kk starts a random conversation asking about rayas favorite childhood foods, but it turns into the best 30 minute conversation raya has had in a while, with them bouncing from silly to serious topics in the most relaxed and flowing way.
they finally leave canes then walk down to the bean, and take pics of each other then take many cute selfies underneath the bean, including kk’s fav where they set her phone on the ground and raya wrapped kk in a warm hug as kk stood on her tip toes to kiss raya. after visiting the bean, they walk down the street and rent the electric bikes (raya offers and pays for both) and have a blast, riding it weaving down the sidewalk even looping thru the skate park for a bit.
after they finish riding the bikes(they had a blast), they stroll to the Hilton hotel where most of kk’s team is.
raya decided to stay in the same hotel as kk because she also doesn't live in the city(she goes to UConn with kk but isn't on a sports team, and she wanted to spend time with kk over the summer city tour).
after entering the hotel, raya suggests that they stop by her room before going to kk’s room(which she’s sharing with paige and q), and kk agrees. “hey, what are you doing,” kk says lowly while blushing and looking up at raya as she was pressed against raya’s room door after raya opened it and kk closed it. “what do you want me to do?” raya says through a smirk and looking down at kk while lightly grabbing kk’s waist with her left hand (as her right hand is pressed on the door behind kk). “let’s go to the couch,” kk leans up to whisper in raya’s ear before giving her a teasingly short kiss on her feather soft lips.
they head to the couch, where kk orders raya to sit on the couch.
“what’s good ba-“ raya starts to say in a suggestive tone before kk sits on raya’s lap and after raya gives kk a reassuring nod kk leans in, moving her lips against raya’s plump top one. as she continues, she wraps her arms around raya’s neck and raya rests her big hands on kk's hips giving them a small squeeze.
kk begins placing kisses down raya’s neck, eliciting a small moan from raya as kk also slightly moves her hips on raya's lap. "'kk you treat me so well," raya breathily says before grabbing kk's jaw to face her and leaves a slow, passionate kiss with raya leaving a small nibble on kk’s lower lip, causing kk to squeal.
after continuing the short makeout session, they hear knocking on the door.
"kk we know you"re in there, it's time for team dinner!" they hear paige say and then they hear q chime in, giggling and saying “you and raya better not be getting frisky."
kk and raya sigh, then kk gives her girl a last peck on the cheek before rising from raya’s lap and holding her hand out to help raya up.
"we're coming!", the two say through big smiles as they head towards the door!
“ooh y’all look a little too happy," q and paige say through smirks as they all head to the hotel food lounge.
they all had a great team dinner and kk and raya went back to raya’s room afterwards to cap off the night finishing where they left off ;)
