I just got this today & Mr. Sam, sir, it is gorgeous. The picture you picked is, on first glance, just very.. nostalgic is the first word that comes to mind. But the longer you look at it & really pay attention to what's coming in the background is haunting. As soon as I finish the series I'm reading now I'm gonna start it.

I’m so glad it arrived safely! The cover does look lovely -- I can’t take all the credit, @hellenhighwater did an amazing job with the cover design -- but I’m so pleased the image came out well. Enjoy!

I absolutely loved how you structured the last chapter. And you are one of a few authors I actually read wips for. You are so prolific & amazing & wonderful & so many synonyms I can't even think of rn bc tired but if it takes you a little longer to post the next chapter of something, you give us a heads up, that quite frankly you don't have to give at all. 14 chs with nearly 50k words in LESS THAN a month is incredible & something I know I could never do.

So I have a question. I'm new to the animal crossing pocket camp game & I'm trying to figure out how to do stuff. How do you change your avatars clothes? Do you have to be at a certain level or what? Sorry if this is out of the blue & really random. Just wanna play the cute game.

No problem! First you go click that suitcase at the left of your HUD (that's your inventory!)

Once you've opened it, click your clothing tab in the middle and it will open up all the clothing you own!

If you just started, it might be fairly empty. You click the clothing and you get the option to put it on.

Oh wow. Yeah... that's... really not that hot. That's like 84 or 85 Fahrenheit. Its 92 here where I'm at.

I grew up in DC no air conditioning and i remember how shitty the dead of summer was, only one window opened. But couple decades in England has killed me.

Autumn mix is the only way to buy mallowcream. Candy corn on its own: ��. Add some pumpkins & the fake waxy flavors come alive.

I do like the pumpkins best, but I will happily eat candy corn on its own as well. I like to bit the bases off first. :D

I don’t know if that’s the material or the brand name, but pretty much. I mean I always just called it all candycorn, but it says Mallowcreme on the package.

Halloween is “coming early” this year -- candy makers and decoration makers are putting stuff on shelves 4-6 weeks ahead of when they normally do, to try and make the most profit off a holiday that’s probably going to be very different this year. They’re focusing on small family-sized bags of snacks and big, easily visible decorations you can see from a car.

1) I approve. 2) I think you need to consider the fact that March is now the month that requires surviving, and lay off February in the future. 3) I remember when you used to call them doonagh days, and this is like two or three weeks of it!

OMG yes doona days! Although I still have to work from home and I need two monitors to do it, so a desk is necessary. But at least my commute is shortened.

Well, I only had two Ed Emberley books, the Big Purple and Big Orange, and I figured I’d make purple a brand. :D 

I have the sequel to the Purple Cow book too, I probably have enough content to at least get us to May. Oooh and I have my Halloween Crafts For Kids book around here somewhere, it has the best “paper bat” template in it.

I have a problematic relationship with duvet covers, they're far too much bother to wash weekly so yeah, top sheets rock. But then, my bedding is more traditional, in that I often have a quilt or coverlet over my duvet, so it's not like I'm doing the whole all in one thing anyway.

I used to do duvet-plus-quilt in winter, but then I got a super thick duvet and started overheating if I did it that way...

Wait... there are people who don't use top sheets?

Oh yeah. And I have to admit there is a very nice feeling in just crawling directly under a blanket. But my days of No Topsheet are long past me now...

Top sheets can be used as a bottom sheet if they are big enough to be tucked under. Also, sew 2 together with an open end to make a new duvet. My kid (who is old enough to called a full grown ass man now!) also hates top sheets. I figured it was generational.

Oh shit, I might mend the topsheet I’m retiring and turn it into a duvet cover, that’s not a bad idea. Otherwise it’s going to be used as lining for a gift I’m sewing for a friend.
