2026 Writing Chart

So in 2025, I kept a creative journal which included how many words I wrote on any given day. I am doing the same in 2026, but decided to step up my game a bit.

People like to knit/stitch temperature charts for a year, what the temp was for each day. So took the concept and am doing it for my words.

Chose to run with the AO3 ratings colour system (I swear those yellows are all different hard to see in the photo), and then 4-6k are all purples - for purple prose because that amused me.

Going to be really curious how this turns out.

April all done. You can really tell my second half of the month was super busy so not as much writing based on the amount of green.

May was definitely my lowest word count month, but between anniversary of my husband's stroke and work being a nightmare, makes sense, but also, I did close out strong.
