Since Travis had a bye week this week, you both decided to visit your parents. When you boarded your flight, you sat down next to Travis, fastened your seat belt, and rested your head on his shoulder.
A few hours later, the plane landed and you woke up, making you realize that you must've dozed off. "Trav" you said, gently nudging his arm.
"What, babe?" He asked, as he slowly began to wake up.
"We landed" you said, before Travis got your luggage.
Your parents knew you were coming, but they were currently out of the house, so they left the door unlocked for when you got to their house. "Ladies first" he said as he opened the door. You then walked through the door and you followed.
A few hours later, you were both watching TV when Travis decided to lay down. Eventually, your parents and sister returned home. You were sitting in between your dad and Travis on the couch when you realized that you left your drink in the kitchen.
As you tried to step over Travis to not wake him up, you missed your footing and landed on his lap. When your sister saw you struggling, she immediately walked to you. "Are you ok?" She asked, clearly concerned.
As soon as she asked you that, Travis then tightly wrapped an arm around you in his sleep. "I'm fine. Can you just hand me my phone in case I need to call the fire department to get him off me?" You joked.
"Sure" she responded, before handing you your phone.
A few minutes later, Travis woke up to find you laying in his lap. "Baby, if you wanted to cuddle, you should've said something" he said.
"Trav, this isn't free will" you subtly said.
"What's wrong, honey?" He asked, clearly not understanding what you were trying to say.
"I'll get it for you, baby" he said, kissing your forehead and lifting you off of his lap.
A short time later, he came back and handed you your drink. "Here you go, baby" he said, before sitting down next to you and wrapping an arm around you to pull you close to him.
"You better marry him, y/n" your mom said, looking at both of you.
"No pressure" you said, smiling at Travis.
"I plan on marrying her" he said, looking at you before pulling you in for a soft kiss.
A few days later, you and Travis left and went back to Kansas City. You really hoped Travis would keep his promise and make you his forever.

You and Travis had an off and on relationship, that went on for a few years. But eventually, you both got tired of committing to each other entirely, and you broke up. One night, you and your friends decided to spend a night out at a nearby bar.
You had been there for a few hours, and as the alcohol started to affect your mind, you thought you saw Travis multiple times throughout the night.
You thought you were seeing things, so you ignored your intrusive thoughts. That was until you felt a hand gently caress against your shoulder as you conversed with your friends.
You turned around to see Travis flashing a bright smile at you. "Hey, stranger. Did you miss me?" He asked, moving to pull you into his arms. Meanwhile, you were still trying to process the sight in front of you.
"Travis, what are you doing here?" You asked, clearly in disbelief.
"I just thought I'd have some fun with my friends. What about you?"
"Same" you responded, feeling your face progressively getting hotter.
"I miss you" he said, wrapping you up in his strong arms.
"I miss you too, Trav. But, we both know that we're never going to work if we can't commit" you reasoned.
"But I've changed, y/n. I can't imagine my life without you now"
"And I believe you. It's just that I'm scared of getting hurt again" you responded.
"I won't hurt you, babygirl"
"Ok. Then, I guess we can try again" you said, trying to retain how happy you truly were.
"Wanna go back to my place?" He asked.
"Trav, you know what's going to happen if we do that"
"I know" he said, before you left with Travis. Eventually, you arrived at Travis' place and both of you rushed upstairs to make love, which only happened to be what you did during the majority of your relationship.
Eventually, you came to understand that even if you started another off and on relationship with Travis, he would still be yours and you would still be his.
