i want to kiss a 200 year old vampire whose manner of speech is archaic. she would probably kill me, or yap to me about her fixation on heroes.
the amount of times i've accidentally pinged a mutual on their art blog instead of their personal one is astounding (two)

My thoughts on Hollow Knight: Silksong (after having finished Act 2), as typed in my friend's DMs:
"From the point of.. game design? I guess? Silksong is interesting because how do you make a sequel for a game? How do you balance the difficulty for newcomers, and also already experienced players who've played the original game to death?
I'm not sure if they did it okay. I think they did but playing the starting areas made me think, 'Wow, beginners are gonna get absolutely crushed by this!' And then I remember, when I first played Hollow Knight, I also likely got absolutely crushed by it and didn't know if I would get any better
There are a lot of things in HK I still haven't completed. Looking at Silksong now, I realise this is the path I should be going with; experiencing as much as I can but accept that I won't see the full thing
I probably should've paced out my playing sessions. I think I would've enjoyed and appreciated more of the game like that
But I think I'm having fun? In comparison to the original, there are a lot more bosses in Silksong that I'm able to breeze through. Use Hornet's full arsenal, and watch how people use her movesets and tools, and you have the most insane 'Wait, you can do that??' way to defeat your enemies- I think that's really fun! That's so fun
I think I've been doing like. 3-4 bosses a day. Err. I'm tired yeah
I don't think the game's getting any easier (I just got used to the difficulty, got the first ending, decided to do the third act and now I will deal with the consequences of my own actions) but holy wharrr I'm so tired. I'm so so so so tired
There's more to see but i feel less and less of the satisfaction of completing something [boss or platforming section]. I just want to get it over with and that reflects my current mentality with everything, apparently."
TLDR: There is a lot to do in Silksong so just pace it out well and you'll have a much better experience.
I'm a writer. Yes, I struggle to pour the words out. Yes, I've never written a story. Yes, I'm sitting on multiple drafts and questions and half-baked art of what my characters could be. Yes, I haven't figured out who they are. I'm still a writer.
And I'm killing it. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
am i supposed to say "i'm sorry for reblogging ship art of men from a 2 decade old band" (no i don't ship it BUT it was really good looking) or am i supposed to be free
