dezi i almost cried when i wrote this part just a fair warning and try and catch the little mermaid reference!!!!!!
"Sebastian," Kendall was fighting back tears, "You're so thin."
"Well, it's the um, you know."
For a few minutes, they laid quiet. Kendall started squirming around, stopping when his head was on Sebastian's chest.
"What are you doing, Flounder?"
"I'm getting comfortable."
"How is my chest more comfortable than a pillow?"
"That's not why I'm doing this."
"What are you talking about?"
"I wanted to hear your heartbeat. B-because I don't know if I'll ever get the chance to hear it again."
That broke Sebastian. Everything he'd been holding in all day. He began crying, eventually sobbing.
"I didn't want to make you cry. Stop, please."
"I need to, okay? I need to let this out."
"It's okay, let it out. I'm here, okay?"
"I don't want to die, Kendall."
"I don't want you to die either." Kendall placed a kiss on Sebastian's chest.
"I'm terrified."
"You'll be okay."
"How are you so sure?"
"You sound like me now. I'm sure because I know you, and you're tough. You're not gonna let this beat you. And I won't let it beat you."
