Cleaned the studio yesterday and picked up an old project I've been fiddling with for a while: converting some corduroy maternity overalls into a utility apron. If it turns out to be a decent prototype I might make more. Using one of my lovely 1970s Kenmores.

Going from a 1950s Singer to a 1970s Kenmore feels a lot like going from riding a bicycle to riding a Harley....in power, speed, and NOISE.
New profile pic. I rescued this Kennie from the curb last summer. She had a mouse nest inside her. I think something critical got corroded because I still haven't been able to get her fully functional. I take her out and poke around once in awhile and then push her back to the back of my desk. Sigh.
