The Eagles came out of the gate with some uplifting display, scoring two early tries of the match. Perry Baker scored a quick brace for USA and Kenya was left with some work to do.
Kenya did not freak out, as the team responded with tries from William Ambaka and Oscar Oyoo, as well as conversions from Samuel Oliech and Eden Agero to send the Eagles parking.

It was sweet revenge for Kenya who lost to USA in Las Vegas a week ago.
The second half saw the best for Kenya, as they gashed the Eagles lines twice in the final minutes of the second half.
Then the evergreen Collins Injera provided the spark that won the game, bringing the ball from a ruck to slip it to Ambaka’s hands who outdid the US defence in spirit, making it 24-19 for the Shujaas.
Kenya will play Fiji at 4.19 am (EAT). This will be a repeat of the 2016 final that saw Kenya defeat the archipelago team to lift their maiden Rugby Series trophy.
