I'm so unbelievably thankful for the last two years that I've spent as the englische Fremsprachassistantin at the Schottenbastei BRG1 and the last year that I’ve spent at Kenyongasse AHS. The English departments have been nothing but amazing, and I've learned so much from the teachers and students here. It's bittersweet to say goodbye to these amazing people, but I'm so happy that I was able to be welcomed into their world for a brief time.
Today was my last day of teaching in Austria. Time moves so quickly when you are having fun, and I can truly say that I had the most unbelievably great time at both of these schools. Thank you for all the mentoring and friendship that both schools have shown me. To Kenyongasse, I know it was a short time and thank you for such amazing gifts that will always remind me of my time in Vienna. To Schottenbastei, I loved every moment with you and thank you for the gifts that will help me move forward to my new life in Budapest. All of you have made my time in Austria amazing. I’ll miss being in the classroom and can’t wait to visit you all sometime soon.
