📍STAY RECOMMENDATION IN KERALA - ALLEPPEY 📍 📍Private Houseboat Amongst the options of hiring a Shikara boat for 3 hours and stay at a hotel in Alleppey or book a houseboat for the ride as well as for stay, you know which one would be the obvious! 💸We booked this double storey AC 2-bedroom, 2-bath houseboat for 6 people costing us ₹2000/- pp (including lunch, dinner and breakfast with onboard cook) ⏰The houseboat ride starts at around 12-1 pm from Alleppey and continues in the backwater lake. After a short break for lunch onboard, ride continues till 5.30 pm (as post-5.30 pm cruising isn't allowed in Alleppey) and is anchored at a place where you can hop out to explore the place (only till the sunset). You can ask for Todi, a local drink, which we got for around ₹60/- for a litre. 📺Onboard entertainment included few local movie CDs and music system on the lower deck which had no AC but we ended up watching Netflix on the upper AC deck in the evening. 🥗With a view like that and the authentic local food served, you bet we were having the best time in Kerala!!
