found this really great pic on Deviantart from the great KerdzevadzeART and my first thought was that it really fits a little with my BOTFA FILI SURVIVES AU - Fili and his One

Fili decided that when his One was pregnant with his child she was the most beautiful woman in Middle Earth. It was their third child, so many years after BOTFA. They were traveling around all these years, most because of Fili to escape his heritage as heir to the throne of Erebor. But because of her pregnancy they had to rest for a while till the child was born. They came to Rivendell, the place where the young prince was hidden after he barely survived BOTFA. The elves welcomed them and their children, they all knew who the young dwarf was but no one talked about it. Lord Elrond told him about what news came from the mountain, that his mother was alive but Dain was king. There was peace in the Kingdom under the mountain after all these years.

In the night the young dwarf decided to travel to Erebor and look after his mother, but without to be seen. Everyone thought he was dead and his poor mother deserved the truth. His One was afraid to loss him and didn´t want him to go. He would miss the birth of his son. She cried in his arms that night, the memoirs about these awful nights when she didn´t know if he would survive or not were strong that night. Two days later the young dwarf ste off to see his mother. A part of his beautiful One and the promis to return back to her always in his heart.
