I can’t sat this is one of my favourites, but what is done is done.

CLAMP’s hyper-feminine shōjo style has always been tricky for me to master. I think it’s the extra fine line art and delicate colouring. Decided to go with one of Sakura’s under-appreciated costumes for this.

This is my drawing for @yuereed ‘s Yue Reed Fest! :D There were over 100 prompts we could pick from, and I chose #86: Yue with flowers! ^_^

I love how Yue has wildflowers in his hair for his design on the Clear Card Goods Box acrylic stand! <3 I thought it would be fun to paint him in that outfit (plus a flower crown :D ), in a field of wildflowers. ^_^ I think the only way Yue would end up with flowers in his hair would be if either Kero or Sakura put them there, so I added Kero in too! :D Since CCS uses flower language in their art, I included lavender along with the other wildflowers. Lavender is symbolic of magic, devotion, love, and protection—all of which fit perfectly for Yue! ^_^
