Back during Lockdown, I got into playing Cookie Run: Ovenbreak, which then lead me to playing Cookie Run: Kingdom for a wee bit (stopped due to both being destructively addictive)
Loved the Costumes for Moonlight Cookie in Ovenbreak, and drew her in 2020 here. Looking back, it does make one cringe but that’s okay. Means my art is grown…hopefully
This is just me redrawing this because it felt peaceful drawing the og (and I’d like to work on making prints to sell)
I would love to do a convention this year, but there’s so much art that I need to dig through all my art and see what I’d like to redo for prints…we shall see how this goes.

I know it’s probably a figure of speech when it comes to the Goddess of Love, but I can’t help but wonder who the Little Birdie Aphrodite keeps talking about in some of her Boon in Hades 2.
I can only guess that it’s Hermes telling her the latest news, given his Messenger status (and you know, wings). But then again, he’s also really good at keeping secrets….
There may be a war going on, but there’s always time for gossip on the side. Especially if it’s about the newly emerged Princess of the Underworld’s love Life.
Soooooo….definitely slipped on the Mermay prompts this year… thumb break definitely threw everything off.
But, as a final push towards the end of the year, I’ll start publishing stuff that I didn’t…specifically the Mermay stuff.

There’s a lot I liked about Hades 2, but I do feel like they missed a trick that Hermes doesn’t pop into the Crossroads once. It would have been nice for him to visit his Great-Grandson you know? Even if there is a war going on, I feel like as the Great Tactician and Divine Messenger, those two would be in communication. Maybe offscreen?
Whenever I listen to Moonlight Guide Us or Fated Glory, I can’t help but imagine this is the dynamic Artemis and Apollo has when it comes to…well, most things. Artemis even mentions that she has a wee complex about her singing compared to her twin brother in one of her voice lines.
Must be tough dealing with a younger extroverted Actual Golden Child when all you want to do is hide in the woods, hunt and hang out with your gal pals
