This time we're finishing the first Kerock CD with Telescope, which is also the last track of the original anime, though it was a coincidence that this was the last one, it's the perfect one.

We've all hear the saxophone section, and that it usually played during the more tender moments of the show makes it feel like a fitting end to this chapter in the uploads. (^.^)

Today we have a bit of an experiment, there are several tracks that aren't uploading, I don't know why; I don't think it's a copyright filter since the cinema mix of Ishikoro no Hoshi won't post, but every other version I've tried to post has gone up with no problem

I've tried a few tricks that have been recommended to try and post it and none have worked, the last thing I can think of is to try and see if the files would go through on the mobile version, which would take some extra steps before I could try it. For now, most of the problem tracks have official uploads and I'll try to figure something out for the one that doesn't

Either way, this has a pleasantly light & fun tech-y feeling to it, I find (^.^)

It's always interesting when a soundtrack piece turns out to have singing, especially if it starts similarly to another instrumental like this one. We've heard the more waltz like opening bars before, but this adds something to it, it's especially interesting for me when the singing is in English since from the lyrics and pacing you can get a feeling for the what the Japanese lyrics they're translated from were.

Or perhaps I'm just thinking of that because I've recently watched a series where the opening is like that, and the English lyrics the performer sings actually means something slightly different to native speakers than what she was trying to translate

This one might be a bit out of season for the northern hemisphere, or since a lot of people seem to be tired of winter weather, maybe not (^.^')

This is another one where I'm sure I recognise the song, but can't quite pin down any specific scenes I remember it being paired with...It is a nice one either way though (^.^) What about you? Do any of you have any scenes you remember this song being paired with?

Whenever I upload a song to this blog, I always listen to it, whether it's a track I've heard many times before or am hearing for the first time so I can do these comments. The result is having listened to a lot of adjacent & instrumental tracks and wouldn't have otherwise, like this one.

It's really nice though, and hearing songs like this have made me realise that I enjoy techno music more than I thought I would, especially when it's like this and leans a bit noctural

I wasn't sure what to expect with this one, but as somebody who is prone to vertigo, this captures the feeling really well, that you can hear more familiar leitmotifs is really interesting and helps keep the track from being too disorienting

Today we have a more tech-y sounding track and a bit of a mystery: what does the 127 stand for? Nothing immediately springs to mind in terms of the number being significant on its own, and trying every iteration of the syllable to number substitution that's used a lot in the series doesn't yield anything. It's a bit curious, isn't it?

Today is a familiar piece of background music from the first soundtrack, I find the singing that come in later especially cute (^.^) Do you recognise it from a favourite episode or scene?
