I love you too, but Female Robin in general was an afterthought. The intention was always for Robin to be Male. However, they did the same with Corrin; they changed the Canon so Corrin is female (much better idea in my opinion). While I get your anger and frustration about a character you wanted in a game not being in the main plot, in fact, Lucina was an afterthought for smash-originally going to be a Marth skin-I think you should realize that they did this as a courtesy for fans.
F!Corrin was an after thought for Fates (as shown by Corrin’s smash trailer), but because she was more popular than M!Corrin they decided to play favorites and make her playable in Warriors’ story. They even went as far as to give her an amiibo along with M!Corrin. F!Robin didn’t even get that.
This isn’t about who is more canon. Both versions are fine. But, the fact that they just ignore her and try to imply that she’s somehow lesser. She polled as 3rd in the Dengeki poll compared to M!Robin’s 5th and she was half of what was voted the best marriage in Awakening.
Intsys can’t just flip flop on which character they choose to be the front runner based on polls and assume that people aren’t gonna call them on it.
