who starts putting up decorations in october? I was gonna say Harry cause I’ve always imagined him to not be that fond of Halloween given how crappy it always seems to be, not to mention their parents were murdered on Halloween, but then again Harry didn’t really start having decent Christmas’ until he went to Hogwarts, so because of that I’d say mostly Amelia but sometimes it’ll be Harry.who buys the advent calendars? Amelia for sure. It was tradition for her adoptive family. Even with them no longer with her it felt stranger for Amelia to go about December not having an advent calender. She was the one who brought Harry his first advent calender.who places mistletoes all around the house? Definitely Amelia. She’s a cocky little shit like that. I mean, come on. You’re talking about the reincarnation of James Potter that’s heavily influenced by Sirius Black XDwho wraps the presents for other people? I feel like it be a combined effort although I think Harry might prefer using magic to wrap the presents up and Amelia would prefer to do it the muggle way.who puts the final star/angel on the top of the christmas tree? Harry for sure. Otherwise Amelia will run and jump to the top of the tree and risk having the whole thing fall down on top of her.who’s the one that hates eggnog? I have no idea why but I get the feeling that Harry isn’t an eggnog person. I mean, Amelia doesn’t love eggnog but she also doesn’t hate it either. Amelia has a tendency to spike the eggnog though. who’s the one that bakes christmas cookies for guests? They both do. Harry’s used to cooking seeing as how he was expected to cook at the Dursleys and Amelia just loves anything muggle related and that includes cooking without magic. It’d be a nice, family bonding time between the two of them.who sends out the christmas cards? I have no idea to be honest. Harry maybe? Or Amelia? Idk XDwho knows all the words to twelve days of christmas? Are you kidding? Have you not heard Amelia belting the fuck out of all the muggle xmas carols to overtop her godfather’s singing of the wizard version of those songs? Amelia for sure. And they’d get louder and more dramatic the more into the song she got. who’s the better snowman builder? Harry. I have no idea why but I just get a Harry vibe from this. Sorry this is a real crappy answer but yeah, my mind is just screaming Harry XDwho starts snowball fights? Amelia. If you take one look at that smug ass smile on that little shit’s face you’d understand. Although if someone was to throw a snowball at her then it wouldn’t take much for her to be ‘challenged’. who’s the one that wakes the other on christmas morning by playing christmas songs really loudly? Amelia, although that would also include jumping on Harry’s bed and belting out the songs. Not exactly an ideal wakening but hey, at least he’s not woken up the Dursley way and given an old pair of socks for christmas.

Tbh, I had have a thought about Amelia’s “lightening strike” nickname having some kind of relation with her being Harry’s twin and of course Harry having a lightening scar on his forehead, but I really like the idea of it starting as an insult but turning into a positive nickname. Funny thing though, I can’t help but feel like Amelia would perform her best when that happens cause it would just fire up her rage and she’d unleash it on the field

Plus, I reckon there might also be some drama or something of Amelia being chosen to be a beater for the team cause, like you said, Harry’s captain and he would’ve picked her and people might think that she’s getting special treatment cause she’s his twin even though the truth is she’s just good and Harry can see it XD Like, not ‘drama’ drama but you know how some people can be XD
