Now I’ve mentioned before Kevin canonically is into Beyonce (S1 EP2 Clones) and in The Fly (S2 EP4) he has a bunch of human cut outs one including super model Tyra Banks

Tyra, Beyonce, Abby, I’ll let you connect the dots but Kevin definitely has a preference XD

Then there’s Abby. While she had a massive crush on Pete Klesko all of season one it’s implied in Season two she’s very much over him and even takes interest in other guys (though Kevin was clearly her endgame as shown in the season finale that for some reason got aired prematurely 😤)

Derek is a popular character in this fandom from what I’ve seen and while he’s the kind of guy Kevin def makes fun of he also play guitar and has an interest in music.

Then there’s Mr.Hurley, the substitute teacher in A Stronger O’Grady (S2 EP5)

He was in a band, punk band specifically, AND he has the craziest/weirdest concepts/theories. He’s also the type of teacher who tells students to throw books in the corner of the room.

Dude is lowk Kevin as an adult.

H. Jon Benjamin played Jason who was implied to have a crush on Melissa who was played by Melissa Bardin Galsky.

They’re both in O’Grady as Kevin and Abby, who also have feelings for each other.

If I had a dollar for everytime these two played love interests, I’d have two dollars which isn’t a lot but it’s interesting (NOT A SHIP POST OF THE ACTORS BTW MAKING THAT VERY CLEAR they were probably just good friends back then or even acquaintances that worked well together, I think it’s cool when actors have done more than one similar projects)

Kabby Wedding HCs!!!!

Kevin honestly wants to go to the courthouse and get it over with, mainly bc he’s never been fond of weddings (most of the ones he went to growing up “either sucked or ended in one of my brothers getting arrested”), and he doesn’t want his family ruining something as important to him as this. That being said, he knows Abby has been planning her wedding since she was a toddler so he doesn’t even ask about skipping the party of it all.

Abby knows Kevin might not be thrilled for anything super extra. And truth be told? She’s always dreamed of getting married, but she appreciates a smaller but tasteful event. So she tells Kevin they don’t even have to go all out.

Other than marrying the love of his life, Kevin is most excited for the playlist. Best believe it’s decorated in Green Day, remixes, and cheesy love songs from the 2000s (aka when the two went to high school together and fell in love) There are a few hard “No.”s from Abby, but she’s happy to see him so excited.

Their first dance song is I Call it Love by Lionel Richie. Kevin def sings it in her ear while they dance and he’s horribly off key, but Abby has always loved his off singing.

Instead of a bridal/groom party, the two opt for Beth as MOH and Harold as best man.

This infuriates Kevin’s mother because she actually expected all seven of his brothers to be in the wedding but Kevin is like “As if I could afford that” and mentions he doesn’t trust most of them anyways.

When Kevin asks Harold to be his best man he acts like he doesn’t care “I mean, you’re the least obnoxious person I know, so why not?” But Harold totally cries as if it were a marriage proposal.

Abby has a Pinterest board (it came out 2010 I hc they got married in 2012 bc O’Grady aired on tv 2004-2006) and she treats it like the Bible. All the colors, decor, cake ideas, dresses, etc

Being the fashion girl she is, ABBY IS THE CRAZIEST ABOUT THE DRESS. I hc she’s a fashion editor post high school and when she announced her engagement, her boss gets her reservations to some of the best boutiques and pulls some strings for deals. Abby almost cries over it lmao

I imagine her dress to be sparkly and mermaid cut with a sweetheart neckline. It hugs her body except there’s a whole ton of poof and extraness knees and below.

Beth’s MOH dress is cream colored with big hot pink hibiscus prints all over. Abby wanted something that Beth would at least sorta like, Beth thinks it’s beautiful.

Abby makes the color scheme since Kevin said he doesn’t really care. She goes with bright pink, sunset orange, and yellow- very much sunset vibes.

Abby has so much fun making the invites. Creating the list? No so much- she doesn’t wanna hurt anyone’s feelings but she also doesn’t want 2 million people there.

Kevin kisses her forehead and rubs her back when she gets too overwhelmed.
