( note slipped into Samuel's pocket )"Sammy, words will never be enough to say how thankful I am for you coming into my life. I was a mess. A broken, shattered mess and somehow, you glue me together into the man I am today. I am thankful for your friendship and for your love. The time we spent together will forever be my most treasured memories and even if we are no longer a couple, know that I will always love you. Yours, K. Deaver"
Growing up a construction worker you always learned to check your pockets before throwing your clothes into the wash (after of course ruining several machines with pocket fulls of screws), so as Samuel was changing out of his clothes to end the night he did as he always would - his hand sinking within both of his pockets, though when he felt the paper he pulled it out with a rather confused expression. He unfolded it and read the words that had been written, his heart immediately quickening it's pace as he saw the nice things that Kevin had wrote for him. There were nights he'd lay awake in bed and just wonder what things would be like had they still been together, but he knew had that been the case he would have never found himself here at the Haus. He would have never met Lorenzo, a man who captivated him in ways he had never been captivated before. The Haus was a whole new world for him, and knowing that Kevin was here walking these halls with him? They may no longer be a couple but the love he had for him would never diminish, and knowing that he'd always have Kevin in his corner? He folded the note back up and put it in his nightstand, a treasured memory that he would keep throughout his days at the haus. "I'll always love you too, Kev..." He spoke to nobody as he was alone in his room, memories of their lives together flooding through his system as he continued getting ready for bed.
