Hi friends! Poking my head back into the aftg space to say that the final chapter and epilogue of Sight and Redemption is still coming, it might just be like another month. Life has been life-ing again, but I think we're coming up on another lull (knock on wood), so I should be able to get some writing done.

Quick update on Chapter 13! It's so so close to being done. I should either be posting it later today or tomorrow at the latest. I'm so excited to get back into this world!!

bw u and i, i am a strong believer if kevrenee even happens it would be casual/platonic cause at the end of the day i loveee kevthea endgame.

anyway jean haunts the narrative obv just like riko haunts @ajosm86 and @fluffypotatey's kevichi. i think after renee rescues jean, kevin realises just how strong renee is (he knew it in theory but after seeing her face off what he thought was the strongest possible force at the time, he knew it for sure).

nothing actually happens until renee's final year, when kevin asks renee how jean's doing. even then this is. basically nothing but!!! it is the first conversation they have that's not exy related, so that's a start. a little more time passes and they find themselves alone at court (re: the last chapter of my jeanee fic) and renee realises just how powerless even kevin was in the nest (at first she thought it was only jean, because all kevin did was complain and frankly i think he was too much of a bitch for people to actually take the time to dissect his trauma) ((also wtv fear he did show from the nest was through vague unexplained panic attacks, which renee could have easily interpreted as concern for jean up until after tkm)). renee asks kevin about his crashout after riko's death, if riko was as cruel as towards jean, kevin opens up, etc etc, cue slowburn,

i think local!!! the thing about sports i follow are that i usually support are teams from the place i'm from or teams where i know the players like in the football league here

19. Headcanon about Renee Walker?

i have 2 for you:

she prefers salty food to sweet. she cannot STAND chocolate. though she might make an exception for the ocassional cookie (as long as it has a human amount of chocolate chips)

her favourite colour is silver. i like to think its the one constant in her life, from the silver sheen of her knives to the silver shine of her necklace, etc etc. i love her

So I know that there's still a little bit of time left on the poll, but after seeing the results so far, I think I'm just going to call it. Thank you for your input, guys, and Sight and Redemption will be back eventually.

I'm going to take a little bit of time to think about how I want to go forward with the next fic/writing project and I'll let you know when I decide.

Friends, I fear that I am in a little bit of a rut with Sight and Redemption...there's just like. no motivation to finish it at the moment. Hence this pole so I can get your opinion. If there are a few people (honestly even one person, I'm a sucker for attention) who are eagerly awaiting the next chapters, then I'll do my best to have Chapter 13 put by the end of the week, and 14 and 15 shortly after. If not, there is never any shortage of writing projects on my mental roster, and I'm fine with shuffling around my priorities a little bit.

That being said, I don't want to leave something completely unfinished, so I'll probably finish this fic after the new year if I do decide to put it on pause.
