Friends of Kewalos is a nonprofit organization who serves the Kewalo Basin and greater Kakaako area. Their mission is to “protect, preserve, and malama the Kewalo Basin Park and the surrounding shoreline and ocean...” The group played a vital role in stopping residential development on this ocean fron park.
