BUT YOUR H&P AU IS SO AMAZING AND ;;;;;;;;;;; cause like omg those little bluebells Donghae offered up were just a super nice touch AND JUST CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW DONGHAE RUNS RINGS AROUND EVERYONE while snuggled up with Hyukjae and everyone takes GREAT PAINS to not annoy Donghae bc Donghae’s the one that can come up with the most elaborate things to keep the souls of the dead dead and not back up int he human realm bc Donghae is life and spring, but every gift he sends to Hyukjae’s realm so is going to stay there.

omg I want to write this so bad but it’s like ????? for me again, it’s all about how life and death exist and when Donghae declares that he want Hyukjae as his husband and he will be the ruler of the underworld next to Hyukjae after the eats the seeds and it’s life and death together because they clash and yet conform to each other perfectly AND FLOWERS BLOOM ALONG THE BANKS OF THE RIVER AND JUST *SOBS*

who needs hades & persephone when you’ve got hyukjae & donghae

Seriously all of these Hades and Persephone edits and people (AHEM kewltie THIS IS YOUR FAULT) talking about it makes me think and it’s like personally, I totally can see Hyukjae as the Lord of the Dead, because he’s super chill (like Hades - it’s pretty much as long as you don’t fuck with his area, he’s chill with whatever) and can be moved by sob stories about some hero wanting to find their mother or lover or child in Hyukjae’s realm.

But Donghae is so like Persephone. 

Donghae, the bringer of spring and growth and renewal, the soft, nubile young god that caught a glimpse of the stoic Lord of the Dead and even though he was kept away, being warned against Hyukjae for their abilities are the complete opposite of each other, he couldn’t get Hyukjae out of his head. Donghae, wanting a chance to get out of what he sees as a prison that’s stifling him, is more than astute enough to get himself “kidnapped” (more like he walks right up to Hyukjae and says that he’s going with him and Hyukjae’s all ‘uhhhh I’m a little busy I’m about to get a lot of people’ and Donghae just smiles a little and Hyukjae falters, he’s totally ensnared) into the Underworld and it’s like he can actually breathe here. Hyukjae tries to stop him from eating, saying that he’ll be tired of it within a few days and he’s Life, but Donghae holds the seeds in his hand. And only says:

“Life and Death have been in love for longer than time has existed. Life sends countless gifts to Death, and Death keeps them forever.”

In that second, Hyukjae sees Donghae as Donghae and not as some naive young god that was looking for flirtation and it brought him right back to the instant he’d seen Donghae, barefoot, laughing, flowers threaded through his hair and looking so alive that Hyukjae couldn’t function for a moment and when Donghae’s eyes had met his, he’d known their fate. Donghae had been hustled away, but Hyukjae couldn’t forget, as much as he’d tried to force himself to forget, and he’s on his knees. He’s the greater god, but Donghae has him on his knees and softly gripping Donghae’s clothes as Donghae runs soft, curious fingers through his hair.

“I just wanted to give you an out.”

Donghae would smile and stroke Hyukjae’s face as flowers bloom and then wither and dry in his hair.

“I don’t need one.”

And Hyukjae would watch quietly as Donghae eats each seed.

And millenia later, when the gods are barely remembered and they’re living as most humans do, Hyukjae and Donghae are still wildly in love, and are usually the most level headed ones at any gathering, even if it’s Spring or Summer and Donghae’s back “home” and good luck in separating them because Donghae just chirps husband and kisses Hyukjae in front of everyone and puts flowers that dry immediately in his hair because he looks SO SAD WITHOUT THEM (even Donghae’s mother has some grudging respect by this point for how devoted Hyukjae is to her son and how they both light up) and they’re watching others bicker and argue and they’re the ones who kind of look at each other, completely horrified and tell other gods to go get therapy for their issues. And when Donghae says that, others tend to shut up very quickly because Donghae is Springtime, but he’s also the co ruler of Hell and everyone knows that it’s Donghae that’s the rule enforcer around there.

hehehe it’s a massive time sink tbh but sooooo much fun to play! But yeah, every single one of the powerups from R1 to R11 cost 5800 RP (the R with the circle around it) each and they have a 50% chance of success ;;; It was a grind for that lol but thank you! :D I CANNOT WAIT FOR YOUR FANDOM FIC OMG ;;;;
