Key Knight and Candle Knight found and raised a baby phoenix. They had no idea what kind of bird she was, but they wanted to protect her. Out of gratitude, the phoenix gave them gifts: Key Knight’s red feather, and Candle Knight’s eternal flame. The phoenix visits them often, she considers them her own metal moms.
Key Knight is a specialist in unlocking things. Her giant key can unlock any door barring her path, and she keeps a large collection of small keys on her that she finds on her travels. She's also handy with lock picking if all else fails.
