Doors Monster ideas based off a few of us!!
Companion- Can be found at the beginning of runs. Will help you by pointing out where items are and finding the next door. It needs to be checked on regularly as over time it will start to ‘degrade’ until turning into a monster, where you either have to run, shine a flashlight on it, or hide without it seeing you do so. There is a very small chance it will not transform. After transformation, it cannot be encountered again on the same run.
Dependency- Can be found in dark rooms rarely. It will not attack on sight, but instead follow the player. It decreases the chance a monster will spawn dramatically. The downside is that it needs to stay close to you, otherwise you will take a sudden amount of damage. The player can only be freed if you lock it in the previous room with the ‘Deadlock’ item.
Attachment- A cute orange-y ball what makes small noises what can be found lost in the middle of hallways and rooms on occasion. The player is required to pick it up and carry it with them until they find a bed, which is guaranteed to spawn after a set number of rooms. Holding it makes the player unable to enter hiding spaces and use items, therefore requiring the player to put it down before progressing. It needs to be placed in hiding spots to avoid monsters such as Rush and Ambush. Essentially, it acts as a second hitbox of the player, meaning even Glitch can cause harm if it is left behind.
Replace- It is exclusively multiplayer and can take effect when walking through doors and will not give the affected player any notification of its existence. It shows itself as a black mass that over time forms green veins throughout. It can only be seen on the backside of an affect player’s model and requires another player to interact with it to remove it. If not removed in time, it will randomly use up items, affect the controls and cause the player to be unable to use hiding spots.
