Moments from Final Evaluation Training Course ‘Outdoor Gives More’
How to transfer lessons learned? Transferring new gained competencies is challenging. In case of the training course ‘Outdoor Gives More’ we introduce the tool ‘Action Plan¨ with aim to encourage the participants in the process of implementing new lessons learned in their daily practices.
The participants were asked to create a plan (to answer on questions what, when, where, how, why...) for any activity that they would like to start to do regularly after this training course.
Moreover, the participants were asked to find support buddy - someone who would check out with them how the process of implementing new practices in their lives and realities it is going once the project is over.

Before I have come to the project I have had some ideas about what we are going to do, what kind of things we will learn, but I didn't know just in such a small amount of time we can learn much more. During the Outdoor Gives More project I have got to know better how the relationship between people work. The tasks we were doing gave me a whole new perspective about trust, teamwork, leadership. And the best thing is, that everyone has different personality with different strengths, weaknesses, dares and fears which gives us more and more point of views of different tasks we need to solve. I believe we need more of these informal education where we learn by doing, where we experience things on our on skin so it leaves a deeper impression on us, which is harder to forget. Thank you for the opportunity that I can be a part of it. Thank you for the organizers, trainers and the participants for being such a cool and great team. This project is going to be unforgettable!

I've decided to choose this training course because I really like outdoor activities, especially in the nature. Before the course has started, I read a lot of information why outdoor activities are so important. As I was reading and thinking about their advantanges, I've agreed with all of them. But now I'm feeling their real value. I learnt so much during this week and a lot of things helped me to open my mind. Yesterday, one of my friends posted on Facebook that she is looking for volunteers for work with children , they are living in the foster home. I think, this is not a coincidence, this is a fate. Therefore I filled the application form and now I'm waiting for their answer. This project has shown me how I could put myself in the good direction. Thanks!
