We started a new #initiative last night at #mixtapedmumbai. Around a year ago, I was chatting with Karan Gonsalves aka #keylow about how bad the #payment scenario was in the city for #DJs & #artists. With the current low pay grade status quo of events, artist management & promoter commissions, the #earnings that a performer makes at the end of a brilliant #party most of the time isn't worthwhile. So Karan suggested an idea where attendees would be able to show their #appreciation for the good time they had to the artist directly - in any anonymous denomination - through #PayTM. We believe this is a strong idea for change & henceforth, you will be finding these posters in the toilets & various corners of @denbandra at every Mixtaped! event.
