I’ve noticed a huge change in Toast’s demeanor since I got her Marmalade—she’s more talkative and confident, she stopped having night terrors, she’s less skittish and as much as I love her alarm toots she doesn’t make them much anymore.
She just looks and acts like she’s feeling better overall. Marmalade has been improving too, his neck and tail feathers have grown out and he put on a little weight which he needed. He and Toast coo back and forth for hours and are so gentle with each other.
I’m a happy diamond Dad! ❤️🕊

A friend for Toast!
She’s a peach diamond dove and her name is Marmalade! She’ll be in quarantine until the vet can take a look at her but Toast will be able to coo back and forth with her up til then. I’m so excited to meet her!

Marmalade arrived safe!
Even through the random snow, haha. She’s currently taking it easy in the nice warm quarantine cage. She cooed a few times and I think Toast heard because her head shot up like ????!!!!!
