Disaster is coming!!!

On the outskirts of Vancouver, Kingsfall has always been known as a place where people play hard more than work hard, where the rich and the famous spend their down-time, and a place where the residents find their happy ever after.

But change is coming. A force is about to tear through Kingsfall, leaving the town torn apart and forever changing the lives of all who dwell within it.

And hot on it's heels, a mysterious organisation known only as "MYSTIC" looks set to alter the balance of power in the ever-shifting struggle between the existing forces of the town, and threatening all who attempt to rival it.

Kingsfall’s Monthly Awards-

Because it’s the new year, at Kingsfall we want to reward writing from all walks and avenues. And before whilst we had three awards, this time we have many more awards… And here are the categories

Long Serving Writer Awarded to characters of writers who have stayed active in the game for a period longer than 2 months

Outstanding Writer

Awarded to those who demonstrate a continuously high standard of writing over the duration of their stay

Writer of the Month The best overall writer for a calendar month, as voted for by the players.

Developer

Awarded to a player who continuously develops their character in-game (for better or for worse).

Tortured Soul

Awarded to writers who successfully take their characters down the darker paths of life, through physical or mental torture.

Romantic Awarded to characters who actively progress affairs of the heart, both the highs and the lows.

Arouser Given to those displaying an affinity for the hot and the steamy.

Protector Given to those who portray true selflessness in the protection of others.

Twisted Mind Awarded to writers who display exceptional affinity for blood, guts and gore.

Over The Line Awarded to those writers who successfully handle controversial or sensitive issues in their writing.

Picture Perfect Given to those who demonstrate the uncanny ability to paint scenes with words, through the use of descriptive writing styles.

Loony Toon For those few writers that excel in the crazy and the deliciously crazy

"Fresh of the Boat" For those new to the game that have shown the best potential. [The award is missing on the board due to space]

How this works?

By submitting to the Gossip Blog in this format:

1.                         Developer - [Character Name]

2.                         Tortured Soul - [Character Name]

3.                         Romantic -  [Character Name]

4.                         Arouser - [Character Name] 

5.                         Protector - [Character Name]

6.                         Twisted Mind - [Character Name]

7.                         Over the Line - [Character Name]

8.                         Picture Perfect - [Character Name]

9.                         Loony Toon - [Character Name]

10.                     "Fresh off the Boat" - [Character Name]

Rules

·                            You cannot vote for your own characters

·                            They are only applicable to characters

·                            Players get one chance at this

·                            Votes go to one character only

·                            If you wish to win, you must participate. Otherwise any votes that are given to you if you have not been voting will be nullified and passed on to the next character in line of succession.

·                            In case of a stalemate, Admin J will look through the Archives of each Character in question and determine the worth based on the criteria down below and award accordingly

The last three categories will be based on three things by Admin J:

·                            Activity during the month

·                            Plots that have been active

·                            Votes accumulated 

·                            Impact and presentation

Deadline for the Votes are on the 15th of April 2014.
