The Acolyte had finished filing the previous week’s reports when knocked on his door, hoping he could check it over. Four quick taps....but nothing was heard.  She raised an eyebrow before pushing the door open, her eyes scanning the room before she noticed her mentor on the sofa, his legs overhanging the arm of it.

She moved cautiously towards him, raising an eyebrow as he continued to read his book.  She knew not to disturb him from his studies, but she was running on a tight schedule, not wanting to get in trouble with the other Cabal members.

The blonde tried calling his name to no avail, so she resorted to another technique.  Something crude and slightly cringeworthy...even for herself.  With a sigh, she gently pulled on the book, leaning down to place a clumsy, misplaced kiss on the corner of his lips.
