PROMPTS FOR SILENT ACTIONS THAT SAY A LOT

Caitlyn hadn't even realized when she had changed her lance for her gun until she felt the way Sky was holding back her hand. She had warned that in some parts of Ionia she could see some things that shook her to her core, but it wasn't until they were deep in Noxian-influenced-territory that she truly understood what her bodyguard meant.

A single man, small, cowardly, a sneeviling wretch that needed to feel bigger than he was by hurting those that couldn't fight back. Someone who left pain in his wake...that was what caused Caitlyn and Sky to deviate again from their trip to help.

They've been too late for some...

"...If I ever see you again...when I return through this trail..." Caitlyn couldn't adress Sky, she look at her to thank her for stopping her out of fear she'd instead try to convince her to let her go of her hand. So instead she spoke to the criminal that was bound as the officials approached. "I will kill you. I will kill you in ways you haven't even began to think of."

She watched as the 'man' was taken away, internally making note how she could still land a shot...she kept her eyes on him for meters, until he dissapeared over the horizon.

"...thank you Sky...It's...it's been a while since I saw such evil like that...apologies..."

It was fortunate that swordsman had cottoned on to the shift of demeanour, the Detective's usual tone of sarcasm slipping toward actual malice.

It was justified. Of course it was. The bugger deserved a fate worse than what he had put those people through...and yet-

She couldn't jeopardise their cause. Not through the actions of another.

The swordsman stopped the other with her hand, a mote of resistance until she gave her a sideways glance, closing her eyes slowly instead of shaking her head.

It was enough to get the message across, it seemed.

The venom in the woman's voice was tangible, the words holding significant weight to them...even if they were cruel.

And yet...if it had been her on her own...she wasn't sure if she would have been able to hold restraint as she just had.

No matter, they would be dealt with. She was sure of that.

'If the guards have sense, he'll rot in Tuula. He won't harm anyone else....they'll make sure of that.' Her eyes stayed on the man as he was lead away, only to sigh once he had gone, her form softening somewhat.

'We weren't able to save everyone... but at least those who remain can rest easy. One has to hope this can send a message to other's who would try the same...but alas-' Wishful thinking. A fruitless endeavour, especially in these neck of the woods. ' We did what we could. That's what matters, Cait - '

"I really did with this one. It's my best creation so far, in my humble opinion." Beating even the Equilibrium that Vanya carried with her now.

He lowered the weapon from his shoulder, holding it more casually now, so it was easier to inspect.

"Well, you're right, I don't do anything just for the looks. Arandur, when tempered correctly, becomes extremely hard, and can hold even the finest edge." He turned the weapon to the side so the edge was visible.

"Normally, when a sharp point hits a solid surface, the impact affects both. The sharp point will naturally flatten a little, while the flat surface will receive the pressure. That's why a sword can't easily cut through stone, and continues attempts make it chip and roll. But with arandur..."

Ferenir walked around, until he found a solid rock that he could hold in his palm.

"Since the edge is too hard to flatten on impact...", he threw the large stone in the air, and then...

Whoosh!

Cut cleanly right through it.

"...that means it doesn't flatten on impact, and can cut through hard materials."

He turned to Sky with a large smile on his lips.

"Of course, nothing in the world is limitless, and even Razorege can't just cut through a meter thick of solid steel. But it will cut into it, and that's more than most weapons can ever claim.

In short....armor will do little to protect against her. Wanna try her out?"

Just as she thought! It wasn't like the Smith to make something out of pure vanity. There was substance too...plenty of it apparently.

While her understanding was surface-level, the demonstration made the theory tangible. If a blade could cut through something as durable as stone...who knew how effective the weapon could be?!

She clapped at the feat, beaming like a fool even if the implications of such a weapon should raise more concern. Perhaps there would have been more questions if she were sober....but at the present?

This thing was bloody marvelous!

'Anything for the advantage! Beast or Bandit alike!' Especially in such capable hands. She knew the other was proficient in a variety of tools. This would be no different.

The question caught the woman off-guard, surprise on her features as her focus shifted between the blade and it's weilder.

'I....uh...Would that even be possible?' There was a chuckle, clearly with hesitancy. 'That thing is bigger than I, no doubt heavier too ... I know my own weaknesses friend... There's no way I could lift her.'
