Arella is still a bit conflicted about Serres because of their past, but she’s started to see her as a different person sort of… Someone separate from the one she used to be when she was two.
She feel bad for her, honestly. When they had that talk that one time on the roof… She don’t like to admit it, but it woke up some of those protective feelings she tend to have for her friends. In other words, she does care for her a bit.
She doesn’t necessarily like her very much, but she do hope she’ll find a way? She recognize parts of herself in Serres I think. They are both pretty proud and strong after all… I don’t think she’s quite sure herself why she seem to avoid becoming too good friends with her.
Possibly because it just feels a bit… Awkward?
So far, all their meetings, save for that one time Soofer found Serres wandering around, has been due to Serres needing something robotic fixed, and Serres being mute combined with Kishel being blind didn’t help them converse much…
Kishel is… In a way fascinated by Serres I’d say. They don’t know each other very well yet, but she do enjoys talking to her (now that she can talk) and think she seem pretty interesting.
The whole deal with Serres moving into her dead ex’s hive of course makes things a bit… Odd for her though..? She’s unsure how to feel about it, even though she says it’s fine, because it should be. Right?
Honestly though, Kishel wants to learn to know her better.
Whatever Sparky feels for Cryome is probably a bit of a mystery even for them. On one hand, they find them sooooo annoying… But on the other hand they seem to be one of few they kind of can stand being around at the moment?
I could honestly go in a bit more deep on this but it’s Sparky.
Khaida’s feelings for Adhine are so so complicated. Adhine is her childhood friend, and she remembers playing with her and Amarik as a kid.
She remembers how upset she was when both girls were one day gone… But over the sweeps she accepted that. They were dead.
Hearing from Adhine was like hearing from a ghost, and it pokes on old wounds in a way she doesn’t like. The fact they became slaves and as if that’s not bad enough prostituted slaves kinda breaks Khaida’s worldview.
She doesn’t like it at all.
And she’s tried to simply forget Adhine ever wrote to her too, but she can’t. She want proof it’s really them… But the only way to find out would be to visit the dollhouse, and she’s not comfortable with that… Not at all.
