Valeri Kharlamov
Now I’d like to speak about Valeri Kharlamov. He was born in 14 January 1948 near Solnechnogorsk in Moscow region. He is a Soviet hockey player. Kharlamov played for club CSKA Moscow in the Soviet League from 1967 until 1981. He is second time Olympic champion and eight time World champion. He is the best hockey player of the USSR. His proffesional career began in 1967 when he won Junior Championship in Minsk. After that, the head coach of CSKA Moscow Anatoly Tarasov, invited him in his club. Also, Kharlamov was in a car crash in 1976, but he returned on the ice. He was a member of the famous trio Mikhailov, Petrov, Kharlamov/ He died in 1981 in a car crash.
