I also hc that Khayra calls her “my flower” bc Kuvira is soooo flowerlike and they first locked eyes when she was emerging from the lotus flower☺️. The best thing about Khayvira is their impending reconciliation with all the hurt and pain they caused their quasi mothers who happen to be sisters. Insane family drama. When you realize your oldhead was right🥀🥀.

Post trial Khayvira where Kuvira is kept in Zaofu doing political organization for the EK. She’s separated from Khayra (the worst part of her punishment). Meanwhile Khayra is sentenced to rebuild Republic City, disenfranchised from her former colleagues and Lin. The fcking angst there. Being back at square 1 when you started out with the best intentions.

Kuvira writing letters and not getting responses for months (Khayra can’t stand to read them) omg omg. She’s HELLA depressed Su is kinda scared so she calls Lin and asks if Khayra can get any days off to go visit her. Khayra doesn’t 😭. She doesn’t know how badly Kuvira is suffering, too blinded by her own pain.

Years of exchanged letters and professions later, Khayra is pardoned for good behavior and moves to Zaofu to start anew with Kuvira on the 10 year anniversary of their first meeting. The parallels between their first separation and reunion. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Cue Khayvira baby and an awkward yet working relationship with Lin and Su. They get married duhhh. Parenthood gives them even more perspective of where they went wrong in their youth. Something about them growing up, man. Khayvira. You mean so much to me.
