Homecoming: Kheluz and Tilda
The party had been Bain's idea. There was no real reason for it other than for Tilda to mix with neighboring lords. Marriage to a highborn lord was what was expected of her. She was expected to marry a lord, live in his castle and have his children and seeing as Tilda was now second in line for the throne (Sigrid had given up her claim when she married Fili) she was wanted by many high lords. Tilda rolled her eyes at their advances and stood them up when she agreed to go on a walk with them.
She did not want a high lord with land and a castle. How long had he been gone? The one she really cared about. Three years? Four years? The princess wasn't sure. Tilda slipped out of the party when no one was paying attention. She took a breath of fresh air and began to walk along the streets not caring that she was out alone and it wasn't safe to walk the streets at night, especially for a lady like herself. A tall figure using the wall of a near by building for support caught her eye. Tilda walked over to them to see if they were okay. As she got closer she noticed that it was a man. "Are you okay?" she asked him.
